‘I draw inspiration from a wide range of sources like everyday life, nature, other artworks and different cultures….abstract shapes and colours, human relationships and environmental changes have influenced my art. I enjoy doing art and painting because I concentrate and focus on my work. I contemplate and meditate while painting…. I speak with my colours.’

The SANE Creative Awards Scheme in collaboration with The Open University, aims to improve the quality of life for those with mental health conditions, their families and carers, by helping them to fulfil their creative potential.

25% of all sale profits go directly to the artists and the rest will be spread across SANEline services; training of Volunteers and furthering the work of the SANE Creative Awards Scheme.
