“We are both touched and pleased to see how the scheme has grown and the positive impact it is having on award-winners’ artistic aspirations. SANE is thrilled at the response and overwhelmed by the quality of artwork, as well as the power and poignancy of the written submissions. It has brought us joy to see what our grants have enabled recipients to do and the encouragement they have provided.”
– Marjorie Wallace, Chief Executive of SANE
“The scheme develops the creative skills and abilities of applicants, and supports mental health through creative endeavour. This is an aim and aspiration shared by The Open College of the Arts through our work in creative education, and we are proud to be partners of the scheme. Our tutors, who take part in the judging panel, continue to be inspired by the amazing work produced by the applicants.”
