DK entered the Creative Art Scheme with the hope the Award would be enable him to buy a camera to document his artwork and practice.

The SANE Creative Awards Scheme in collaboration with The Open University, aims to improve the quality of life for those with mental health conditions, their families and carers, by helping them to fulfil their creative potential.

25% of all sale profits go directly to the artists and the rest will be spread across SANEline services; training of Volunteers and furthering the work of the SANE Creative Award Scheme.
